Right into the light...
Shaun riding into the sun. Right to the movie at the Roxy. Two theaters packed with folks watching a bike movie. An enthusiastic crowd for sure.

in motion

Yeah, it's not cycling. The blog photographer was shooting dog musher Rob Loveman heading up to Huckleberry Pass between Ovando and Lincoln. The route is part of Adventure Cycling's Great Divide Mountain Bike Route....so, it's kind of like "winter cycling." Ok...maybe not.

Cycling Photographs.
Just a reminder that the blog photographer is having an opening at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography Gallery on Friday, February 5th, from 5 to 8. The show is entitled "Cycling Photographs" and consist of...well.....photographs of cycling. It will be up through March 26th. You can read more about it here: http://www.rmsp.com/Gallery/UpcomingExhibit.aspx
So if you're out wandering the streets for First Friday, please stop in. It's located between Fact & Fiction and Doc's, at 216 N. Higgins Ave.
Here's a sneak preview. Don't tell anyone that I showed you this....

Hello readers. The blog has been resting a bit. Going to start slowly moving again....so stay tuned.
I did want to put in one shameless plug. The blog photographer is having a show at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography Gallery. The show opens on First Friday, February 5th, and all of the photographs will be cycling related. The images will hang through the end of March. Hope to see you there...

Fantastic...
I've only ever posted photos on the blog....never a video. But this one really stuck with me, so I thought I'd share.
Two thieves on a motor-scooter flew by and snatched a womans purse on a street in Wenzhou, China. Surveillance video shows a man riding a bicycle. As he was passing by the front of a hotel near where the thievery happened, he stopped, calmly got off his bicycle, picked it up, and then threw it at the thieves. The bicycle hit them, they lost control, and crashed to the ground.

on the road...
The blog photographer is in the land of sunshine and headed as far south as you can get and still be in the continental U.S. No computer access for a couple of weeks, but will be updating his personal blog from his new Droid phone. Still some kinks to work out, but should be uploading cycling photos everyday from the road starting sometime over the weekend. Stay tuned....photo by: tomrobertsonphoto.com
